A lot of people wonder how I manage both photography and content on my own. One of the ways I do it is by having a small video camera mounted on top of my camera. So while I'm taking your photos, it's also recording what's happening at the same time.

That means I'm not constantly switching between different devices or stopping one thing to do another. As I'm capturing all the important moments through photos, I'm also collecting genuine video clips as they naturally unfold throughout the day.

For the key moments like the ceremony, confetti, speeches and portraits, my focus is always on getting the photos right. The video camera simply captures those moments from my perspective while I'm working. Then throughout the day, I'll also grab extra little clips on my phone or little video camera when the moment feels right.

I love this way of working because it keeps everything feeling natural. I'm not asking you to repeat moments or perform for the camera. I'm just documenting the day as it happens, so you get beautiful photos as well as all those little behind-the-scenes memories, reactions and emotions that help bring the whole day back to life.
